Chișinău, July 28, 2025 — The Association for Good Governance (AGG) has provided legal and analytical support to the Alliance of Small and Medium Enterprises from Moldova (AIM) in developing a policy proposal for coherent regulation of urban micromobility services in Moldova.
The initiative aims to address the growing need for clear, modern, and balanced rules governing electric scooter and shared mobility services in urban areas.
AIM, with AGG’s expertise in legal drafting and policy analysis, calls on public authorities to launch an open consultation process that would ensure predictable, transparent, and fair regulation for all stakeholders — service operators, local authorities, and citizens alike.
AGG’s contribution focused on analyzing the existing regulatory gaps, aligning proposed measures with European standards and good governance principles, and drafting recommendations that promote both innovation and public safety in Moldova’s cities.
This collaboration reflects AGG’s mission to advance evidence-based policymaking and advocacy, ensuring that regulatory solutions are practical, inclusive, and aligned with Moldova’s European integration objectives.
