AGG Contributed Legal Expertise to the Draft Law on Entrepreneurship (New Edition)

Chișinău, May 8, 2025— The Association for Good Governance (AGG) provided legal and analytical assistance to the Alliance of Small and Medium Enterprises from Moldova (AIM) in developing and submitting a new set of policy and legislative proposals regarding the Draft Law on Entrepreneurship (New Edition).

The initiative seeks to modernize the legal framework governing entrepreneurship in Moldova, aligning it with European standards and best practices.
The proposed amendments focus on improving legal clarity, reducing administrative barriers, and ensuring fair treatment of small and medium enterprises within the broader business environment.

AGG’s contribution included:

• Legal drafting and review of specific provisions of the draft law;
• Comparative legal analysis of entrepreneurship regulations in EU Member States;
• Policy alignment recommendations with Moldova’s SME Development Strategy and the country’s commitments under the EU Association Agreement.

These proposals aim to create a simpler, more predictable, and inclusive framework for entrepreneurs, encouraging innovation and investment while maintaining regulatory balance and transparency.
