Chișinău, 26.06.2024 — The Association for Good Governance (AGG) provided support to the Alliance of Small and Medium Enterprises from Moldova (AIM) in the development and public presentation of the first edition of the White Book on Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the Republic of Moldova.
The White Book represents an in-depth analysis of the SME sector in Moldova, presenting the overall situation of the business environment during the 2023–2024 period.
It outlines the main challenges faced by SMEs, their needs and sources of financing, as well as the criteria and mechanisms for accessing funds.
The document provides a solid foundation for future public policy initiatives aimed at improving competitiveness, sustainability, and the regulatory environment for Moldovan enterprises.
In the longer term, the White Book will serve as an advocacy instrument for the SME community, ensuring that the voices of entrepreneurs are heard and that their priorities are reflected in the national decision-making process.
